Cardio Getting Stale? Mix In These Routines to Keep Your Blood Pumping

We understand that cardio like running on a treadmill or track can be monotonous. But with changes in your routine and circuit training, it doesn’t have to be.

In one workout, you can do a combination of high-intensity workouts. To save time and money, you can also do them at home.

Here are some fun routines to keep the blood pumping:

  • Jump Rope:

It’s possible you haven’t jumped rope since the fourth grade. If that’s the case, go get a jump rope right now! This type of cardio can be performed almost anywhere. Turn up the volume on your favourite music and hop to the beat.

Throwing your jump rope in a bag, suitcase, or purse will allow you to get your 150 minutes of exercise whenever you have free time.

  • Dancing:

Whether you shred it up on the dance floor, or have two left feet, dancing is a perfect way to let off steam while getting some exercise. You may believe that dancing is only for Zumba lessons, but what’s stopping you from dancing around your living room? Turn up the music and dance your heart out.

Incorporating music into your regular cardio routines is a great way to stay motivated.

  • Trampoline:

It’s fantastic if you have a big, bouncy trampoline in your yard. Jumping and playing around is not only beneficial to your health, but also enjoyable!

Don’t rule out this activity if you don’t have a large trampoline. You can purchase a small trampoline that you can keep in your apartment. Running or jumping in place while listening to music can be just as effective.
